HeartSong Primitives - Primitive Hooked Rug Patterns and Kits

HeartSong Primitives original folk art and primitive hooked rug designs are available. To preserve the primitive, folk art look, all designs are hand-drawn on monk’s cloth or linen backing fabric.
Our traditional rug hooking kits include: a color photo of the completed rug, a hand-drawn design on 100% cotton monk’s cloth, a hook-by-number diagram, pre-cut, numbered wool strips; hooking instructions, binding and a traditional rug hook. The wool used in our kits includes our HeartSong Hand-dyes, beautiful hand-dyed wool, mill dyed wool, and some kits may also include plaids that add interest and texture to the rug. Please note: Colors may vary slightly according to wool availability or differences in dye baths. All designs are copyrighted, thank you for respecting the copyright.
